About us

Most of us are based in Germany, at the Department of Collective Behaviour, Max Planck Institute of Ornithology (MPIO), and the Department of Biodiversity and Collective Behaviour at the University of Konstanz. PhD students are also part of the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Organismal Biology. Some blog posts will be contributed by colleagues from other institutions around the world.
